Brown Museum calfskin is the understated version of the Ilcea finish — a hand-painted antiqued brown that shifts between chestnut and walnut across the upper, with a depth no standard calf carries. Applied by hand, one pair at a time, at the Ilcea Conceria in Italy. On a flat photograph it reads as a rich brown; in person, it moves.

The Richard is a cap toe oxford on the City last: closed lacing, one clean seam across the toe, a generous round toe and a fit built for long wear. Goodyear welted by our artisans, finished with the fiddleback beveled-waist leather sole — a hand-beveled waist that distinguishes the construction from anything assembled to a price.

For the man who wants the formal shoe in the colour that works with everything — and wants the leather to do something that mass-produced brown can't. The Museum brown Richard is the cap toe for the long career, not just the occasion.

Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance
Color: Black&Silver, Color: Black&Silver
Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included. Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some! This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them. That’s it that’s all

A solid upgrade!
Size: 53mm, Size: 53mm
This coffee tamper has been such a nice upgrade to my espresso routine. It has a solid, balanced weight that makes tamping feel smooth and effortless, and the textured grip gives it a really comfortable, secure feel in hand. There’s something satisfying about how neatly it presses down the coffee grounds—like it was made to fit perfectly. Since I started using it, my shots have been more consistent, with a beautiful crema and better flavor overall. If you’re looking for a tamper that’s simple, well-made, and does its job really well, this one’s definitely worth it.

It's pretty
Size: 51mm
I've never had a tamper, I don't know what I'm doing. But it seems to work just fine and I like the wood.
