The pearls and bling on this vintage designer Ceil Chapman dress are stunning.  With a fitted boned bodice, full skirt and drape plus attached faux train off the back, a most beautiful and quintessential 50's party dress.  Not without her issues, she is still stunning in every way.  

Condition:  Yellowing from the bottom up.  Discoloration and spot on the drape (beautiful beading underneath the drape, if you choose to remove it).  Very minor bead loss and threads need tightening.  Priced for condition.  Still an amazing dress.

This dress is not eligible for return due to the beadwork.  Please do not hesitate to ask questions before ordering.

I couldn't get the dress passed the shoulders on my mannequin so photographed it hanging.  To avoid tugging on the dress, I barely even tried to get it on the mannequin, I hope these photos give you the 'picture'.

I bought this for my performances assuming well of the brand (I’m a musician). My biggest complaint is that I wish it were louder. There have been performances where they’ve asked me to turn the volume up and surely enough it’s already at its loudest volume 🥴. The battery life is pretty good, it’s never died on me and I’ve had 4hr gigs before. The light is also a nice touch (and can turn on and off per your request of hitting a button). It makes a sound when you turn it on and off which can also be muted if you can catch it in time. Pretty easy for me to carry from place to place. Im not sure I’d recommend it to a musician but depending on what it is you need it for- it’s truly not bad.
