🔹 Botanical features:
• Form: Succulent plant, with compact growth, shaped as a rounded clump, with dense and upright leaves. It is small to medium-sized, suitable for small pots.
• Leaves: Thick, fleshy, slightly concave, with pointed tips and a waxy texture. The color is dark green with wide golden-yellow edges, creating a strong and decorative contrast. The leaves grow vertically and symmetrically, offering a neat and architectural look.
• Stem: No visible stem; the leaves arise directly from the underground rootstock.
🔹 Recommended growing conditions:
• Light: Prefers strong indirect light, but also tolerates partial shade or artificial light. In good light, the yellow variegation is more intense.
• Watering: Low. Water only when the soil is completely dry. It is very drought-resistant and sensitive to excess water.
• Soil: Well-drained, light substrate, like that for cacti and succulents, with added perlite or sand.
• Temperature: Thrives in warm and stable environments. Does not tolerate cold and must be protected from very low temperatures.
• Humidity: Does not require high humidity. Adapts perfectly to dry indoor air.
• Fertilizing: Rarely – once every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring–summer), with fertilizer for succulent plants.
